What is the Filtizy score?
A single 0-100 number summarising a product, calculated as a weighted average of published factors. Food and beverages are scored per 100g/100ml on nutrition and ingredient factors; every other category is scored on quality, value, data trust and availability. Every product page shows the exact factors, raw values and weights that produced its number.
Is a high score a recommendation to buy?
No. It is a comparison aid, not advice, and it is not medical, nutritional or dietary guidance. It cannot know about your allergies, medical conditions or budget. Treat it as a starting point for asking better questions, and always read the actual packaging.
Can a brand pay for a better score or a higher ranking?
No. Scores come from the published factors alone. Some retailer links are affiliate links that may earn Filtizy a commission, but commission is not an input to the formula and cannot move a product up a ranking.
What does “Top X” mean?
It is the highest-scoring products across the catalogue, ranked by Filtizy score. Narrow it by category, subcategory or brand and it re-ranks within that filter, so you can jump straight to the best-scoring option in a specific slice rather than overall.
Why do some categories or brands show nothing?
The catalogue is still being built out. Categories and brands are set up ahead of the products that will fill them, so a filter can currently land on an empty result. Nothing is broken - there just isn't a published product in that slice yet.
Where do prices come from, and why are they sometimes wrong?
Prices are snapshots collected from retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa and others. They change constantly, so what you see here can be stale by the time you look. The retailer's own checkout page is always the real price.
How do I save products to compare later?
Use the bookmark icon on any product card or product page. Saving needs an account, which keeps your shortlist synced across devices. The Compare page holds up to five products side by side and works without an account.
Do you sell my data or run ad trackers?
No to both. There are no advertising trackers, analytics pixels or third-party marketing scripts on the site. Signing in sets two httpOnly cookies to keep you logged in, and that is the extent of it.
Something in a listing looks wrong. How do I report it?
Email us the product link and what looks off. Product data is compiled from manufacturer and retailer sources, and recipes and specs get reformulated without notice, so corrections genuinely help.
